Another hand picked supplementary weft weaving again done on a 4 harness floor loom.

I did this piece because I finished my final project for my weaving class early and had some free time on my hands.

This took me about 5 sittings to weave (of about 4 hours each) not including the 4 hours or so it took me to thread the loom, and I'm not getting into how long it took me to wind the warp for this one (all those fiddly little pieces of thin cotton string...)

I'm thrilled with how this turned out. It was kindof a surprise, since I did the entire piece from the reverse side.

I had originally intended this to be the back of a jacket, but I think I'm going to leave it alone and use it as a wall hanging or something, maybe I'll frame it, is that tacky?
